What We Do
In this new day and age, we are aware of the consequences of plastic pollution but the problem is how do we help in fighting plastic pollution. This problem has caused many people who wants to save Mother Nature, to become hopeless and distressed.
Our solution is not only to reduce plastic waste but instead to give the people a sense of hope where they can contribute to clean the environment and use waste as a resource. ECO-Ri converts plastic waste into various products ranging from various home décor items and furniture. We do not see plastic as a problem but as a solution.
We believe in creating a community in which we can solve plastic pollution and contribute to a more
eco-friendly and sustainable society.
Mission & Vision
Our mission is to reduce Plastic waste and bring a change in the attitude of how people understand plastic waste by involving them in contributing toward a circular economy.
Through our Waste to Grace initiative, we aim to bring a solution that will change the status of plastic waste from a problem to an opportunity by giving it value through innovative recycling and repurposing methods.
Achievements
ECO-Ri is among the top 50 entrepreneurs of the state Incubated at PRIME Meghalaya.
We also received the Waste Entrepreneurship Award at Nongpoh as apart of celebrating the 75th year anniversary of Independence under Swatch Bharat Mission and celebrating the 50th year of Statehood of Meghalaya
ECO-Ri also bagged the first prize in North Eastern Exhibition on Start Ups and Entrepreneurship 2021 held at the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya
